- This is a tank used in the Gemini capsule to supply drinking water to astronauts. The tank used oxygen as a pressurant. There is no indication that it was ever flown on a mission and it was probably used for testing. Airesearch made this artifact and NASA transferred it to NASM in 1968.

two sections of rounded, molded amber-colored plastic .held together along the mid-point by two ferrous alloy collars. The thin collars are secured mechanically with evenly spaced hex bolts and blue anodized nuts. The top half of the interior is lined with a black synthetic rubber bladder. The top and bottom of the rounded water container have ferrous alloy valves.The object has two data plates, no decorative layers or stickers. Stenciled in black on the top half of the water tank are the words "Dump and Fill"
